day at home well partial day

I'm home working this morning, got a doc appt in mid morning. It's pretty cool working in pjs...looking forward to next week off two days then work partial day then off two more days then not off againtill Christmas..bummer!

Sadly Sunday already

Sundays are bittersweet, they are a day to rest and recoup and also the day before you go back for a week of struggle and strife if you have a high stress job and who doesn't these days. Of course we should all be thankful to have jobs this time in our lives, but it is sad to think in a few short hours we'll be up and running strong again. Today Bobby and I went to Lowes, and Walmart then he took us to breakfast at Ryans, always eat too much there but I love those waffles with cherries and whipped cream...also the big fat porkchops. Then it was back home, a couple of loads of laundry and read the paper, knit a little, feed the goats and dang if it isn't time for supper which was yummy, Bobby cooked a huge pot of chili. now a couple of emails later I'm blogging then back to knitting and wind down for bed. Smooches All.....

Here again at Last

well nothing much going on which is why I haven't been blogging, work, Bobby's knee is healing nicely after the replacement. at work we are gearing up for the Thanksgiving rush, we hope there will be a rush, business is kinda slow but it's that way everywhere! I have been enjoying Facebook though, I'm keeping up with my nieces and nephews which since my brother died I've kinda lost out on! and my sisters grandson since his dad my nephew died we've kinda not been together much either, Life is so strange those we love the most we sometimes never see. Still no word from my son but my grandson is wonderful! I live for him I guess. here's a recent photo when he was over a few weeks ago and Yes he's drinking water from a shot glass he liked it said it was just the right size for a swallow of water...LOL
